This role is based in the _Cape Town_ office._ Position Overview: MRI Software is seeking a Director of Managed Services to join our team in Cape Town SA This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the SA region Managed Services teams. The Director of Managed Services in SA will report directly to Mark Fairweather, Managing Director, South Africa, with dotted lines to the Vice President of Global Managed Services and other Services Department Service Offering Practice Leaders in NA, EMEA, and APAC. **Responsibilities**: - Local Services oversight, leadership and people management of approximately 40 SA Managed Services employees part of the SA Global Delivery Center and with planned expansion of the SA Managed Services team to support global Services needs that is built for scale; - Engaging with various Business leaders locally and globally (NA, EMEA, and APAC) to help build and support the SA Services team, with a focus on culture and community, people management, and delivery excellence; - Drive global integration and standardization in the SA region. Work with Services Department Service Offering Leadership to build a better global infrastructure built for scale through adoption of policies, standard operating procedures, and training/cross-training for SA Services teams; - Working with global and local leadership to ensure commonality of approach as well as working with regional and global leadership for resource management and development; - Contribute vision and leadership consistent with the MRI’s Services strategic plans and objectives to deliver technology initiatives in support of the growth of the organization; - Optimizing solutions to improve performance, productivity, or reduce costs within or across the Services Departments; and - Be the Services representative for unique challenges and needs of the SA region within the broader Services leadership structure.
