Digital Factory Senior Manager: Mea

To ensure that standardised and advanced analytical offerings are current and relevant to our client base, to constantly strive for continuous improvement in the way we service our customers through information and the way we lead through Data and Decision Science.**
***Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide input into the organization strategy and budgets
- Manage or deliver on client fuel-loss investigation reports that mitigates liability as best as possible, in conjunction with the organization’s legal and any other functional area such as Operations for example
- Manage or facilitate client meetings when dealing with escalations or issues and drive resolution
- Constant strategic alignment and thought process in every element of work
- Continuous improvement in how we deliver BAU Data, reports and other Information outputs that are published and/or distributed to our client base
- Manage the digital factory team in terms of general people management elements as well as their delivery
- Have basic data and technical literacy to manage or oversee the development of improvement projects (for example: automation of repeat work) or new product development
- In conjunction with technical specialists, highlight the need for new automated mechanisms to monitor data daily diagnostics in terms of data quality, exceptions, completion, and accuracy
- Have internal interactions when required to keep abreast of our changing and evolving data assets and landscape so that the organization data management and solutions can be aligned
- Identify key challenges or business issues within the greater to pave the way for innovative data solutions
- Maintain good governance, lower risk, and increase compliance conformance within the organization’s management function and within the broader governance standards
- Ensure Quality Assurance processes and checks are in place for all work outputs
- Manage, build and/or improve on the reporting, analytics, and data exploration capabilities.
- Resource management to structure work in such a way that it enables for business continuity within the team by removing key person dependencies and fosters a culture of cross-skilling across various client portfolios.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- A Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Strategy, Information Systems or Technology
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive responsible experience in a directly related area
- Extensive experience in the Data, Analysis, reporting and Business Intelligence space
- Demonstrated Experience in Influencing and directing conversations with others
- Experience in Navigating known-unknowns as well as unknown-unknowns in a data trend/relationship (at a conceptual level)
- Data Technical literacy to converse comfortably with technical team
- Business savvy and strategic experience
- People management experience
**Skills**:
- High level of computer literacy, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Data literacy
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and within the context of poor requirement definitions by others and can elicit the correct requirement from them to understand the problem and context to solution accordingly
- Robust and effective solution design
- Ability to act as a sound board to peer ideas and solution initiatives
- Ability to easily identify current solution trends in the data, insights, BI Development and analysis and integrate that back to the organization product offerings. Furthermore, can identify gaps and advise on new developments that will enable the organization to lead the business in the and other data driven protocols
- Demonstrated ability to clearly understand and buy in into the company's business strategy
- Ability to develop the strategy to align to corporate strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience managing potentially large and complex type projects and work in diverse teams.
- Experience in building and supporting the business cases
- Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
- Proven ability to build and motivate a team to achieve well against communicated expectations.
- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous or challenging situations.
