**Role and Responsibilities**:
A leading home and personal care manufacturer seeks a sales representative to support the Commercial
Executive in driving the growth of the business by establishing and maintaining links with customers and target customers. This role is ideally suited to someone who is dynamic and outgoing and hungry to grow sales in new markets. Experience as a buyer in the retail space or as a sales representative in FMCG is essential.

**Key Performance Area Key Performance Indicator / Decision making**

**Operational ** Engaging with retailers for product listings
**Management ** Negotiating trading terms and ensuring that they are being adhered to
- Calling on Customers in the target channels for both Brand and

Capacity sales
- Driving daily, weekly and monthly sales against targets
- Driving sales through the use of promotions and ad-hoc promotions
- Promoting sales through price, above the line and in-store advertising
- Managing the profitability of promotions
- Reviewing customer profitability
- Reviewing category management templates and ensuring that products receive the relevant store space based on market shares and sales contribution
- Negotiate for store space and ensure that it is maintained and enforced by the sales team
- Keeping partner teams informed of promotions by having a formal grid in place for the year.
- Reviewing competitor pricing
- Implementing price increases
- Mining data and reviewing data available from customer
- Continually doing range reviews and looking for Distribution gaps in the market.
- POS management linked to the promotional grid
- Reviewing customer orders and managing infill rates

- Targeted customer sales in various Channels that include selling

- Ensuring that quality feedback is provided at all times both internally and externally
- Building quality relationships with stakeholders
- Punctual attendance and participation in meetings
- Constant communication with the immediate superior, keeping him/her up to speed with what is happening in the market at all times
