POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVE
About the Position:
As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You’ll serve as the face of our company to customers — understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive success.
Working Conditions:
- Contract type: Permanent
- Shift: Mon-Fri 07:30-16:00 Sat 07:30-12:30
- Number of positions: One
- Location of position: KwaZulu - Natal
The position will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Build key relationships with customers
- Conduct market research and product analysis of market trends
- Conduct pricing research and competitive reviews
- Liaise with Key people within the organization to drive sales
- Support and liaise with all the departments where necessary (telesales, crates transport and Quality)
- Plan and work towards sales targets and budgets for both Existing clients through Key Account Management and New Business
- Oversee all new clients to ensure adhered service delivery
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule for both Existing clients through Key Account Management and New Business
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Identify and onboard New business.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends, follow up on new business prospects and any sample given.
- Arrange and plan a constructive weekly visit planner
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of mileage
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Ensure accuracy of reports - customer and store reports
**To be successful in this role you will need to meet the below minimum requirements**:
- Matric
- Computer literate
- 5+ Years Proven work experience as Sales Representative
- Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or relevant qualification
- Able to travel to meet with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Own Vehicle
- FMCG experience
