Travel Agent SPANISH

Aventura Africa is an online travel agency based in South Africa, specialized in tailor made travel to Africa for the affluent Spanish speaking traveller.

Travel Agent Job Responsibilities:

- Meets with clients to determine travel needs, budgets and preferences.
- Sells and coordinates transportation, accommodations, tours and activities.
- Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather and activities.
- Collects payments.
- Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations and refunds.
- While clients are traveling, is available 24/7 to answer any problem they could have.
- Conducts research on destinations and industry trends.
- Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings.
- Contributes to agency efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Quoting holidays and converting these to bookings.
- Offering excellent customer service, dealing with complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner.
- Keeping product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations.
- Working to sales targets.

Skills and qualities:

- Passionate interest in Africa travel knowledge.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Strong numeric skills.
- Ability to multitask and quickly interpret complex information.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients over the phone.
- Skills to persuade customers and influence their decisions, both for their own benefit and that of the agency.
- Exceptionally high levels of motivation, working both independently and as part of a team.
- Smart appearance.
- Proficient internet research skills for customer information.
- Ability to work in a target-based environment and to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Ability to assimilate information and to pay close attention to accuracy and detail.

Essential:

- To live in Johannesburg or Cape Town
- To be fluent in SPANISH

**Salary**:
Work Remotely
- Temporarily due to COVID-19

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
