**POSITION**:Permanent
**COMMENCEMENT**: As soon as possible
**SALARY: R40 000 - R55 000 pm CTC (depending on experience)**
**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
Be responsible to track market developments, create strategies, set up sales and marketing plans to get customers on board for the company and meet annual sales and marketing targets set.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- ** Bachelor’s degree** in **marketing, business administration**, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of **5 years’** proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales and marketing.
- Minimum of 10 years hardcore sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong closing skills.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated professional with.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales and marketing targets.
- Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer base.
- Developing and promoting weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and marketing objectives.
- Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
- Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify needs.
- Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products.
- Establishing a sales training program to train new employees.
- Meeting with sales managers to assess company performance.
- Prepares and completes marketing action plan.
- Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
- Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
- Improve marketability/profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Sustain rapport with key account making periodic visits.
- Track market developments.
