**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Incident Management**:

- Log and track incidents in a ticketing system
- Ensure that any queries reported via the ticket logging system are responded to and resolved or escalated to other teams in a timely manner
- Prioritize and escalate issues as needed

**Troubleshooting**:

- Perform first-line troubleshooting for the company's systems and ensure issues are accurately logged
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
- Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics

**User Support**:

- Provide training and support to end users, including password resets and access management
- Assist with the setup and configuration of hardware and software

**Documentation**:

- Create detailed notes of user issues and the steps taken to resolve them
- Update and maintain the knowledge base with solutions to common problems
- Help develop and maintain SOP for processes within the Service Desk

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric
- Tertiary IT qualification
- ITIL certification advantageous
- Certification in: A+, N+, MCSE
- At least three years´ experience supporting the following Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Operating systems (OS) e.g. Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft O365
- LAN and hardware support experience essential
- Using remote access tools to do fault determination
- Use monitoring tools that are available
- A good knowledge about customer service and support ethics
- A good knowledge about computer hardware
- Keep up to date with the technological developments in the ICT and customer care industry
- Knowledge and/or experience in Microsoft operating systems configuration, troubleshooting and support
- Knowledge of network support and connectivity and troubleshooting complex multi-site WAN and/or LAN environment
- Usage of remote support as well as desktop sharing technologies
- Active Directory maintenance and Exchange 2007 & 2010 Office 365/Azure
- File server knowledge
- Accepts criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations
- Office 365 support experience essential

- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Exceptionally good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be quick on their feet and quick to think of solutions to the problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, with ability to work independently
