A renowned and established engineering company is looking for a top-notch **Project & Team Lead**for their production facility in **Somerset West.**

You'll lead the production team to meet targets and maintain high-quality standards. Your role involves developing the team and fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration. You'll drive production, identify and fix inefficiencies, and ensure timely completion of tasks. You'll work closely with the supply chain and production leads to manage stock and documentation. This role requires strong client collaboration, service orientation, and effective relationships with internal stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Set monthly production goals based on client demand.
- Ensure sufficient stock of subassemblies and components for short
- and long-term needs.
- Establish weekly production targets and ensure they are met.
- Delegate tasks fairly and effectively among team members.
- Assist with hardware assembly and testing.
- Ensure product performance and quality.
- Approve all as-built documentation.
- Ensure tools and equipment are available and suitable for efficient production.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues during production cycles.
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting engagement and best practices.
- Lead by example, ensuring team members follow company values and code of conduct.

**Education**:

- BTech in Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering is desirable.
- Certificate in Project Management is beneficial.

**Experience**:

- In an electronic engineering environment.
- As a project manager.
- Managing a team.
- Working in a high-value/low-volume electronic engineering production environment.
- Project management in an electronic engineering environment.
- Working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) systems (desirable).

**Knowledge**:

- Active RF circuits
- Project management fundamentals
- Programming and test automation
- Electronic assembly, testing, and fault-finding
- MRP/ERP systems
- RF principles
- RF test equipment (spectrum analysers, VNAs, power meters)
- Basic fibre optics
- General measurements (multimeter, oscilloscope)

- Advanced project management

- Conducting performance discussions
- Advanced spreadsheets (Excel)
- Excellent organisational and leadership
- Microsoft Office
