**Responsibilities/Tasks of an Intermediate Project Manager**:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Systems Engineers, and project stakeholders to define project scope.
- Establish and assign clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables across all project disciplines.
- Facilitate high-level design sessions and drive effective project planning processes.
- Lead project estimation sessions with a focus on complexity and resource needs.
- Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and create detailed project plans using MS Project (or similar tools).
- Set up and manage JIRA projects, ensuring all tasks are properly tracked and aligned with project goals.
- Define and agree on a project workflow that aligns with both project requirements and team capacity.
- Oversee project communication, maintaining regular updates on project progress, challenges, and risks.
- Conduct impact analyses for project changes and manage the change process accordingly.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure non-functional requirements are addressed throughout the project.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Manage third-party relationships and oversee any necessary external collaborations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with line management and other departments for seamless project delivery.
- Manage multiple software releases, ensuring smooth delivery to the client.

**1. Minimum Requirements**:
- Matric
- 4 years of experience managing projects in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- An understanding of Software Design Principles.
- A Project management certification.
**2. Skills and Knowledge Requirements**:
- Extensive experience in project administration, particularly within a software development environment.
- Experience integrating third-party components and interfaces into software projects
- Proven leadership skills with a history of motivating cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to conduct scenario-based analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to ask probing questions and devise effective solutions.
- Understanding of software design and development principles.
- Experience in developing and implementing best practices for project management processes.
