**About the Company and Position**

The Company is an aerospace engineering and consulting services company with an extensive network of experts and industrial partners. Our small but highly qualified team of seasoned professionals develops cutting-edge solutions in aerospace, propulsion and systems engineering.

Our core capabilities are Design, Simulation, Assembly, Integration and Testing. We are looking for a Project Manager who has a can-do attitude and is able to manage and motivate a team of individuals towards a common goal.

This challenging but exciting opportunity provides wide technical exposure in a stimulating environment, ideal for someone who is keen on personal growth in the aerospace and in specific the aerostructures engineering environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning, developing and managing project(s) in the field of aerospace engineering.
- Interim and quarterly status reporting to MK Aerospace Exco and Operational Management levels, clients and stakeholders.
- Providing inputs for longer term manpower, training, facilities and equipment budgets.
- Fully understanding the projects’ history, status and future challenges to meet the contractual milestones.
- Build and expand the Project Management Group’s capabilities and systems into an efficient Project Management office capable of supporting all the project management functions and requirements.
- Leading, guiding and integrating the effort of a team of experienced engineers.
- Supporting the Business Development Group in developing proposals for spin-offs from active projects and new business projects.
- Take initiative in building the tools, techniques and processes used within the organization to execute the MK Aerospace suite of projects on time, within budget and to technical requirements.

**Requirements**:
Execution of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the position demands the following experience, skills and knowledge:

- BSc. in Engineering, preferably a M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering;
- At least 5 years’ experience in managing projects;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Proven leadership skills.

In additional to the above, the following will be advantageous:

- Formal project management qualification or certification; and
- Sound aerospace / mechanical engineering background & understanding.

**Special working conditions**

Overseas travel to client sites could be required from time-to-time.
