Opportunity to join an International company headquartered in South Africa, as their **Head of Operations**. This role is based within their Plant (East Rand, Gauteng).

This person will be responsible for strategically and practically contributing to the overall continuous improvement of daily operations, implement and maintain where necessary a best-in-class manufacturing operation as well as lead and contribute to projects identification, development and implementation.

This is a senior role with Operational responsibility across planning, procurement, warehousing, quality, safety etc.

This role leads a team of process engineers, a project manager and a maintenance team (Maintenance manager plus artisans)

This is a “hands-on” role. The Head of Operations will spend the majority of his/her time within the Plant environment.
- BSc Industrial Engineering, Commerce or Similar. Engineering degree from a leading university
- 10 years FMCG experience in operational or production capacity.
