Cit Training Coordinator

**CIT Training Coordinator - Training Centre Florida**

A position exists for a CIT Training Coordinator based at the Florida Training College. The position will report to the L&D Group Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to Coordinate training interventions as per the training function, within area of responsibility. Compliance with best practices, quality assurance standards and Industry requirements as per impacting legislation.

**Experience, Requirements and Qualifications**
- Grade 12 / NQF 4
- PSIRA Grades E-A Instructor
- Drivers License (EB) with own reliable transport
- No Criminal Record or any pending cases
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft package with strong Excel knowledge is essential.
- Facilitator registration with ETDP SETA
- Assessor registration with ETDP SETA & SASSETA
- Moderator registration with ETDP SETA & SASSETA will be an advantage
- General Security Practices (GSO) at NQF 3
- Specialist Security Practices Qualification at NQF 4
- Competence in Firearm Unit Standards: Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, Carbine and PFTC Firearms Unit standards Instructor registration.
- Minimum 3-5years experience and full knowledge related to the training environment.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Numerical accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.
- Solid attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information.
- To participate in various ad-hoc projects where necessary.
- Military experience is an advantage.
- Ability to liaise professionally with Senior Management and management at all levels.
- Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Brilliant Project Management Experience.

**Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)**:

- The members will be responsible for the management of all operational training and administrational functions and tasks related to the CIT project to ensure that the project is aligned with the outcomes stipulated in the project objective plan and his contract daily.
- He must comply to the project target dates stipulated in the mentioned documents. He will be responsible to coordinate tasks with all the RTM's and CIT Regional Managers and provide guidance as to the completion of the tasks required weekly.
- This will include all financial management aspects related to the project and controlling costs monthly, expenditure and savings on the project at all levels.
- The monthly reports must produce a true reflection of progress and include data sheet that will track the project and the completion of tasks related to the project monthly.
- Arrangement of all training intervention and ensuring that course members report for training as per the drafted training schedule, non-completion and concerns to be reported immediately and the program to be adapted according to such changes.
- The member and students to fully comply to normal duty hours stipulated by the company.
- Communication weekly with all Regional CIT, Operational Managers and Regional Training Managers regarding the project and project related requirements and tasks. All communication to be made via written confirmation.
- Providing written report on progress made related to the project plan weekly and ensure that “none” compliance is attended to and resolved and reported daily to relevant authorities.
- Daily contact with the Human Capital Department to establish the well-being of relievers allocated to the project and recruitment progress reports nationally. This will include strategies to recruit members where internal resources will not be able to provide such resources.
- Monthly meetings with CIT Regional Managers and Operational CIT Manager, this meeting to be minute and placed on record
- You will be responsible for the development of applicable project training material that must inclined the following:

- Learner guide-manuals.
- Assessment both theoretical; and practical
- Lesson plan related to these module
- Course block program
- Training resources: Video material, CPC Boxes and CIT vehicles.
- Your tasks will include evaluation of training material content and to making changed where required after each training intervention. Proof of the mentioned to be provided based on reports received from training personnel.
- The training material must have a master file as such, file to be distributed to all regions in hard copy format and soft copy for printing purpose.
- 100% control of monthly expenses and income to your CIT project, ensuring a brake even monthly report on budget. All training provided to have the required PO’s and that all costs are recovered.
- All office to have inventories and quarterly asset reports to be submitted in line with equipment used on the project.
- No losses or injuries during training interventions.
- Planning of overtime and scheduling courses during the week. Work over weekends and public holidays
