World Class 5* Game lodges - Sabi Sands Game Reserve Mpumalanga

This role covers the day-to-day operations of the Lodge. The role requires co-ordination of the guests stay, ensuring that from arrival to departure they experience
an authentic and memorable time. This will include overseeing and hosting meals, orientation of the lodge and the rooms on arrival, booking activities, engaging with guests,
delivering bespoke service and special touches and making guests feel comfortable and at home. We value feedback and put a lot of emphasis on responding to feedback in the running of all aspects of the lodges. The part you play is ensuring that from arrival to departure guests’ expectations are anticipated, met and exceeded where possible.
Here’s what you need to have in your jacket of all trades
**Qualifications / Experience**:

- South African Citizen
- Preferably 2 years experience in 5 Star establishments
- Hotel or Tourism School (or similar qualifications)
- Hosting experience ie. maître, waiter, barman
- Wine knowledge (preferable but not essential)
- English speaking, fluent in written English
- Driver’s license essential

**Job Description**:

- Primarily hosting and guest interaction
- Maintain hosting standards and overseeing service
- Be present at all times in the guest areas
- Serve drinks at the bar and at meals
- Set up and host bush functions from time to time
- Check rooms are prepared according to standard prior to guest arrival
- Liaise between lodges and departments about guest movements and requirements
- Work with the team and plan duties together, support where needed
- Be flexible and move between lodges
- Assist in lodge operations when not occupied with guests
- Play your part in ensuring guests get the Ulusaba experience at its best
- Maintain a high level of hygiene in line with statutory requirements

- 5* Game Lodge: 3 years (preferred)
- F.B Service 5* Hotel / Lodge: 3 years (preferred)
- F.B Hosting 5* Hotel: 3 years (preferred)
- South African Citizen: 6 years (preferred)
- stock take: 3 years (preferred)
- Hospitality Management Qualification: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
