**Job Description**:

- The purpose of the role is to lead, motivate and coach a growing team of marketing associates located in seven African countries
- Supporting sales team and customers, to achieve the organizations KPI’s
- Defining and executing the marketing strategy (marketing mix) for the Automotive Aftermarket (AA) division in Africa
- Develop strategy and guide implementation to increase market share for a range of AA products in the African market
- Guide, lead, and manage product specialists in;
- Product specific sales planning and forecasting
- Product specific sales support
- Product specific market intelligence
- Product specific pricing and margin management
- Input in communication strategy
- Advertising & promotional (A&P) budget management

**Qualifications**:
**EXPERIENCE**:

- Some understanding of vehicle assembly and vehicle mechanics
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar role preferably in automotive aftermarket
- 5 years+ leadership experience in the African market which should include the leading of a virtual team
- Strong communication skills
- High level of marketing experience, and solid understanding of sales
- Experienced in MS Office especially MS Excel

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Matric / Grade 12 and a relevant Degree in Engineering, and/or Marketing
- MBA or related qualification will be an advantage
