**_ Accountabilities_**
- _To manage the laboratory testing as well as the staff compliment in the laboratories to ensure that the daily as well as weekly plan is on target._
- _ To ensure the optimum utilisation of shift labour by effective labour planning and training and development of employees_
- _ To follow up on daily NCRs and ensure that the correct process is followed as per procedure including the signing off of NCRs_
- _ To track effectiveness of product holds by ensuring communication with CDC and production teams_
- _ To approve LIMS actions, tracking concession requirements if necessary._
- _ To attend daily Quality Wall meetings - process and packaging._
- _ To ensure packaging quality is in place per shift: weigh control checks, packet quality assessment, case counts, date code checks during the shift._
- _ To sign off Lab calibration checks_
- _ Provide feedback monthly on training and support requirements._
- _ To manage flavour changes in terms of Allergen management._
- _ To ensure food safety is maintained through metal detector verifications and audits._
- _ To ensure quality through auditing, investigations, troubleshooting, proposing corrective actions, and coordinating projects to foster continuous improvement._
- _ To facilitate a smooth shift as well as an efficient shift handover, ensuring that a comprehensive shift report is completed in line with the necessary requirements._
- _ To ensure that AIB, food safety and quality standards are maintained throughout._
- _ The jobholder must ensure that the achievement of the four KPI’s of cost, service, quality and people are maintained as per their PDR._
- _ To conduct job observations for improvement._
- _ To manage attendance daily including KRONOS, leave, sick leave._
- _ To manage career development discussions._
