**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:The main purpose of this position is to oversee, lead, managec, plan, control and carry out tasks throughout the Operations department. By ensuring quality products are delivered on time and in full in a cost effective manner.**:
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)**:
**The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to**:

- Effectively manage and communicate with the Production, Process Engineering and Production Support teams.
- Uphold a good social climate within the teams and wider teams.
- Always drive the Company’s ethos of Security, Quality and Trust.
- Maintain production schedules in order to meet customer contractual commitments.
- Continuously optimize costs and productivity.
- Propose and manage projects to drive continuous improvement by:

- Coordinating corrective action plans to meet or exceed cost/quality/time objectives.
- To guarantee outcomes for capacity execution.
- Ensure the Operations department work in accordance with set compliance and regulatory bodies (PCI /ISO, etc) and be audit ready at all times.
- Recruit and train teams.
- Contribute to the realization and analysis of production reports.
- Involvement in the strategy planning and execution.
- Further develop and implement long term solutions to improve the department.
- Involvement in other duties and special projects as required.
- All of the above objectives are to be completed striving at all times for **Quality, Trust and Security** - **Creating Confidence**.

**MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Production or related field (or Equivalent).
- Post Graduate degree - beneficial.
- Quality Management.

**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of 5 - 10 years proessional market related experience.
- Knowledge of employee relations (Employment Labour Law and working in Unionised environment).
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years project management experience.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years proven leadership experience.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement/Kaizen.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES**:

- Strong customer focus.
- Sound knowledge of current standards (PCI / ISO / Etc.).
- Working knowledge of Lean principals / Six Sigma.
- Create an intercultural environment.
- Strong drive to keep & maintain the compliance culture across the department.
- Strong improvement skills/focus/mindset essential
- Must be able to find solutions to obstacles with proven problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in flexible working time models.
