**What we are looking for**:
Our business is on the lookout for an experienced generalist human resource professional who will work directly with our senior leadership team to develop and direct the HR agenda which supports business operating models, business growth, plans and goals.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- **Payroll administration**:Efficient management of any of the tasks necessary to the monthly processing of the compensation of employees for time worked
- **Human Resources administration**:Management of the administration relevant to overall employment experience of people working within the business.
- **Labour law compliance**:Ensuring compliance to relevant and current labour law and to the legal framework, and those set in precedent, for the fair and equal treatment of all employees in any workplace scenario.
- **Training**:Manage the training function, including a contribution to the creation of new content, to identify improved practices and to measure its effectiveness in creating engaged and productive employees
- **Employee Relations**:Engagement in strategies to create and maintain a positive relationship between the business and its employees
- **Performance management**:Effectively applies performance & development management strategies and processes that are compliant to law, to create a high-performance culture
- **Risk and Governance**:Ensuring HR practices, policies and procedures are consistent, fair and compliant to current law and identifying and mitigating business risks
- **Human Resources and Statutory reporting**:Gathering and analysing business and employee data for purposes of maintaining sound HR practices and best business practices
- **Health & Safety compliance**:Ensuring regulatory compliance, with relevant statutory compliance requirements and ensuring risks are mitigated to protect employees in the workplace from hazards, risks, incidents or fatalities.
- **Human Resources projects**:Engaging and driving necessary ad hoc business projects

**Minimum Requirements**
- Relevant HR or related tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a generalist HR role
- Valid and relevant working visa/permit required for employment of foreigners

**Preferred Skills**
- HR experience gleaned from work in a similar place of work
- Knowledge/experience of Debt Review process advantageous
- Experience in training/coaching of employees
- First hand experience in preparation and physical presentation of information, data or topics of education/training
