**Position Summary**:
The _Educator Network and Learning Design Lead_ is accountable for the effective sourcing and management of a world class educator network to partner on the delivery of Duke CE programmes in the Africa region. The position also provides thought leadership in creating innovative approaches to leadership programme designs.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Educator Network Management 50%_
- Proactively sources diverse, world-class and innovative educators into the global network to partner with Duke CE on a range of programmes and learning experiences
- Develops educators to Duke CE standards with virtual and in person workshops, coaching and mentoring
- Maintains close connections with educators, representing educators to projects and keeping educators informed of new developments at Duke CE
- Closes the feedback loop from client facing teams to educators on delivery performance and opportunities for enhanced collaboration and improved client experience
- Finds new partners for the delivery of diverse experiences, immersive learning innovations in digital and other learning delivery formats
- Manages contractual and commercial relations within the Educator Network, negotiating rates, terms and compliance to Duke CE agreements
- Maintains educator and partner data and governance documentation for tender and proposal submission as needed
- Design innovation - 50%_
- Acts as a thought leader within Duke CE Africa to share industry knowledge, trends, and innovative approaches to learning solution design, methodology, and technology
- Creates proprietary Duke CE designs & develops other experiential methods based on specific learning outcomes
- Understands client business context and challenges and how those relate to leadership development
- Designs collaboratively with client teams, utilizing the full range of own design and learning innovation
**Requirements**:
**Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:
- Models Duke CE core values in all interactions.
- Establishes strong professional and personal credibility with others from C-suite level to Practitioner level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project
- Strong analytical and report generation skills using and manipulating Excel and other data to report data trends
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrated organization, coordination and project management skills.
- Relates well in diverse workplaces across various organizations and sectors; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact.
- Strong attention to detail. Strong research skills including the ability to search for, locate, extract, organize, evaluate, use and present information.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-obsessed environment in which commitment to a common mission and reliance upon and support of other team members is expected and valued.
**Education and Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum Honours Degree in Commerce, Humanities or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years experience in education operations (e.g college, university or similar)
- Minimum 3 years experience in project management and operational leadership
- Minimum 3 years experience in learning programme design and instructional design skills and executive consulting skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in innovation in learning design using technologies
- Minimum 3 years experience in client relationship management, building partnerships in diverse contexts and establishing long term partner relationships
- Relevant experience in research and learning programme instructional design within an educational environment will be an advantage.
- Own vehicle and drivers license
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
Role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg and work is conducted from the office. This is not a remote working role.
