**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

To lead and co-ordinate the implementations technical team. To assist with and implement all services offered to new clients during the installation and incubation period, ensuring client satisfaction before handing the services over to the Operations Team. To act as first-line support for the team and to assist with escalations of non-standard installations. To report daily on the workflow and weekly on all installations and to ensure successful completion of the implementations process. To assist line management in recruitment and retention processes for the team.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Banking, retail, IT, payments industries
- Operating systems e.g., Windows & Linux
- N+
- Navigating and operating any system e.g. Windows & Linux
- Windows (desktop environment), Windows Server 2008, Linux Red hat, and CentOS
- Network level troubleshooting
- Scripting on any Operating System
- SQL database systems
- Full MS Office suite
- Remote support methods e.g. team viewer, VNC viewer

**REQUIRED: EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**

**MINIMUM**
- Matric (NQF level 4)
- N+
- A+
- MCSE
- Server +
- Entry level CCNA
- 2 - 3 years’ technical experience in the IT Industry

**DESIRED**
- Advanced Diploma in IT (NQF level 6)
- Linux
- QIR
- Project Management experience
- Payments/CRM industry experience

**IDEAL**
- BTech Information Technology (NQF level 7) or BSc Information Technology (NQF level 7) or BSc Computer Science (NQF level 7)
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a team leader.
- Experience in banking, specifically merchant services
- Payment’s industry experience (across multiple payment platforms and technology)
- Mobile payment experience
