**Job Desciption**:
Novus Print is currently seeking to appiont an Information Technology Support Specialist who will manage the employees on the service desk and assist with operations, troubleshooting, and maintanance of technology infrastructure and systems of Novus Print.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
Provide coverage and support for Network operations and information - Provide technical support for the Business Unit - Monitor and maintain Business Unit servers - Analyze log files and investigate correct or record errors that are discovered - Monitor Business Unit server and data backup processes - Configure network devices as directed - Work with systems for endpoint device management includes software distribution, updates, patching virus protection, imaging and maintenance routines - Assist with network account creation and troubleshooting - Develop and maintain scripts and programs that automate repetitive tasks and data transfer - Technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for self-produced technical work and job processes - Ensure that service tickets are closed or escalated promptly - Ensure regularly scheduled technical tasks are accomplished on time - May be required to travel between Novus sites

**Educational Requirements**:
A minimum of two to three years of experience supporting end user networks in a Microsoft environment - Minimum two to three years of experience supporting a LAN/WAN environment - Matric - Completion of Microsoft Server and Workstation certification

**Experience Requirements**:
Working knowledge of: - Internet Protocols, VPN and Firewalls - Hyper-V, VMware or similar virtualization technology - working knowledge of the current Microsoft Windows Desktop, Server, and Network Operating systems - Knowledge of SAN hardware such as EVA, MSA units; preferably HP

**Skills and Competencies**:
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision - Ability to communicate clearly with computing users on all levels - Demonstrates commitment to service excellence standards - Work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners - Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver multiple assignments on time, and maintain an efficient/timely daily work schedule - The ability to effectively document technical work
