Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role for a SAS Support Specialist, based in Johannesburg or Cape Town with some remote work flexibility. The SAS Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for SAS analytics platforms. Day-to-day tasks involve installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of SAS environments, as well as collaborating with clients to resolve any platform-related issues. Additional responsibilities include optimizing system performance, supporting data integration processes, and contributing to continuous improvements in platform performance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SAS platform administration, installation, and configuration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for platform-specific technical issues
  • Knowledge of data integration, data management, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication and client collaboration skills for resolving issues and understanding requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment
  • Relevant certifications or advanced expertise in SAS platforms are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is a plus.
