**Job Description**:
Derivco South Africa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated** Technical Specialist** to be part of our dynamic team.

- Advanced Active Directory and DNS. Installation, Configuration, Maintenance
- Scripting and automation Languages
- Ability to design and develop complex automation solutions tailored to specific organizational needs
- Experience in automating infrastructure management tasks at scale, across large and distributed environments.
- Implementation of self-healing and self-scaling systems through automation.
- Incorporation of advanced automation practices like event-driven automation, predictive analytics, or machine learning-based automation.
- Development of custom automation frameworks and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Languages : Bash (Linux), PowerShell (Windows), Ansible, Python, Terraform
- Expertise in Scripting and Automation
- Account permissions and access control
- Networking Concepts, TCP/IP,DHCP,VLANs
- Backup, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Concepts
- Monitoring and Alerting
- Tools : Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus
- System health Monitoring
- Cloud Management
- Concepts related to Azure and AWS
- Deploying and managing virtual machines in Azure and EC2 instances in AWS
- Azure VNet and AWS VPC for network configuration and security
- Cloud architecture and hybrid deployments.
- Virtualization Technologies
- Concepts related to SDDC environments
- VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, VSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager
- Ability to Manage virtual environments, including resource allocation and optimization
- Citrix Environments (Delivery Controllers, Storefront, Virtual Apps and Desktop)
- Documentation
- Expert in creating detailed, high-quality documentation that serves as a valuable resource for the entire organization.
- Expertise in documenting complex systems, architectures, and processes, including in-depth analysis and explanations
- Strong emphasis on documenting best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Ability to organize and structure documentation effectively, making it easier to navigate and understand for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Leadership in promoting a culture of documentation within the organization, mentoring junior engineers in effective documentation practices.
