**Job Title**: Technical Sales Representative - Aviation

**Reporting To**: Managing Director

**Job Purpose**:
The primary roles of the technical sales representative is to generate sales and expand the customer network.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Generate and manage an active Lead/Opportunity Pipeline database.

2. Present marketing and sales activities/results on a weekly and monthly basis.

3. Manage the database of sales-related documentation and communications inclusive of Tenders, Letters, RFIs, RFPs, Contracts, Proposals, and Reports.

4. Prepare and manage marketing budgets and expenditures for approved events, demos and exhibitions.

5. Understand and present each of the companies’ products and solutions with confidence.

6. Identify, retrieve, present, filter and pursue approved tenders.

7. Prepare technical and commercial sales proposals.

8. Plan, attend, report on and follow up on meetings and events with customers, end-users or delegations representing the customer.

9. Engage and manage industry role players to facilitate meetings, presentations, and demonstrations at either Company or Customers' facilities.

10. Develop and implement marketing tools and materials as required in close collaboration with the company marketing manager.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years of proven technical sales experience in the aviation or technology industry.
- Experience in the use of sales and collaboration tools.
- Experience in the preparation and execution of sales agreements.
- Technical Aircraft Maintenance or Pilot license.

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills under high-pressure situations.
- Business acumen.
- Professional English, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Own vehicle.
- SA citizenship or SA permanent residency is essential.

**Salary**:
R35 000.00 R60 000.00 CTC per month

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R35 000,00 - R60 000,00 per month
