Support Officer: Sme

Coordinating team events, travel and administration for the SME & Platform Banking Division.

Coordinating EXCO reporting and submissions within the Division and ensuring that stakeholders are well informed of agenda items and meeting the attendees’ expectations.
*
Scheduling appointments for the Managing Executive and Heads with customers, suppliers, service providers and stakeholders.
*
Providing clients with the necessary information, support and assistance throughout the life span of their facilities/business transactions with the Bank, to ensure quality service and maintain business relationships.
*
Liaising with new and existing clients/partners of the Bank and the relevant departments in coordinating meetings and status updates.
*
Liaising with other departments on administrative matters of mutual importance.
*
Performing research towards identifying potential sales/partner leads and pitches in line with the Division’s targets.
*
Reviewing and updating division's policy and procedure manual and RACI matrices to ensure department's implementation and adherence to all policies and procedures.
*
Coordinating the customer/partner due diligence process within the SME & Platform Banking Division ensuring that submission deadlines are met by team members.
*
Processing fee invoices and managing the fee income schedules, fee debtor schedules, attorney fee schedules and the reconciliation thereof.
*
Monitoring expired and expiring facilities and update the WIP schedule accordingly.
*
Submission of invoices and payment requisitions to the Finance department and follow up on remittance advices.
*
Facilitating, coordinating and finalising all FICA and compliance requirements for lending transactions.
*
Collating and reviewing the required risk registers submissions from the team members and submit bi-annually or as required for the SME & Platform Banking Division.
*
Assisting with marketing and stakeholder initiatives of the Division and liaise with relevant departments.
*
Ensuring effective implementation and staff awareness of all compliance related regulations and new legislative requirements.

Attending to tasks in respect of any compliance projects.
*
Ensuring that transactional monitoring and sanction screening monitoring is done by actioning all alerts generated on FISERV/RiskSecure timeously and accurately.
*
Facilitating and attending to staff access and training on all banking systems (OCS, Online Credit, OMM, RiskSecure and FISERV).

Liaising with IT Developers, Project Managers, Project Owners and relevant managers/staff on required IT/system developments and enhancements and assist with system specifications where necessary.
*
Attending to all required testing in respect of system developments and enhancements on OCS, Online Credit, RiskSecure and FISERV and provide feedback accordingly to the project team based on the SME & Platform Banking Division’s requirements.
*
Ensuring timeous review of audit reports as requested by Internal Audit and align audit queries with processes where necessary by interaction with the relevant personnel/departments.
*
Assisting with administration of team meetings, draft minutes of those meetings and circulating to the team with action items within the agreed timeframe

Relevant Degree
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the financial services industry
