Human Resources Intern

**Your areas of responsibility**:
- Supporting HR Business Partners in their day-to-day business.
- Processing administrative activities such as preparation of employment contracts, letters and gathering all information required for employment.
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
- Support in the recruiting and onboarding process for new hires.
- Participate in HR projects e.g., in the context of digitization and process optimisation, employee wellness etc.
- Assist in the administration of the Employee Educational Assistance program.
- Coordination and payments of bursaries.
- Attend to ad hoc departmental matters.
**Qualifications and Skills we are looking for**:
- A minimum of a Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or related qualification.
- Proficiency in Ms Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
- Work well in a team and be able to drive individual assignments / projects.
- Understanding of labour laws BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, BBB-EE etc.
