The role will involve providing technical assistance and support relating to computer systems, hardware, or software, responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Providing 1st line support
- Desktop & peripheral support
- User support (remote and telephonic)
- Network support
- Ensuring all incoming Helpdesk calls are answered and resolved within SLA
- Appropriate & timeous call escalation
- Identify repeat problems with associated action plans
- Software and hardware installations
- Ensuring all work is done in accordance with company policies & procedures

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Degree or diploma in computer science
- Microsoft Certifications Windows Desktop, Office 365/Microsoft 365
- ITIL & A+/N+
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an IT Support / Technician role
- 2 years of Active Directory experience
- 3 years of Desktop support experience
- 4 years of user support experience
- 3 years of remote desktop support experience
- 4 years of telephonic support experience
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange is an advantage
- Experience with hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and desktop software installation, troubleshooting, support & maintenance
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tenants & associated management & support
- Networking knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, ICMP
- Ability to seek solutions to problems using ones own resources
