To assist in designing tour packages by skilfully negotiating and contracting rates that will help convert as many enquires and/or quotes into bookings profitably and to perform the department’s administrative and operational matters. (60% of your time to be spent on quoting and booking confirmations and 40% on admin, general office-related matters and operations).

**Duties**:

- To understand our client’s needs and requirements - know what to sell when, where and how.
- Developing your product knowledge to assist with achieving our key business objectives. i.e. On job training, attending prescribed roadshows, conducting your product training and personally developing your understanding of tour routes and products we sell to the different market segments we work in.
- To ensure clients are responded to timeously, tasks are carried out and to provide feedback to the relevant parties i.e. Travellers, Suppliers, Agent partners, Sales Support Team, Line managers and Managing Director.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years experience working as a tour guide
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- B2B inbound tour operator experience
- Knowledge of popular tourist destinations in the area
- Ability to develop new itineraries
