GERMAN SPEAKING SENIOR INBOUND TRAVEL SALES CONSULTANT - REMOTE - R25000 Neg + Comm

The Right Company are currently looking for a German speaking Senior Consultant in Sales. This person must be able to quote, must have product knowledge. A senior level with at least 5 years’ experience in this field.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Constantly update yourself on product knowledge of Southern and East Africa.
- Quoting according to the client's needs.
- Be creative in finding solutions according to the client's needs and availability.
- Provide co-employees with necessary guidance.
- Contribute to the team’s targets.
- See prioritising, planning, and meeting of deadlines.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and provide a level of service to clients expected by clients.
- Use the company IT platforms and software, Google (G-mail, Drive, Sheets, etc).
- Constantly improve your ability to use Lemax.
- Preparing quotes for both FIT and Groups including writing the itinerary.
- Keep updated on products, itineraries of all the clients/agents relevant to the specific consultant within the company.
- Liaise with agents about provisional bookings, alternatives, cost adjustments, consultations, etc.
- Operate the tours meaning source accommodation, transfer and everything else included in the booking.
- Assist with crisis management on tours (while on road and in the office).
- Deal with complaints which have escalated into bigger complaints.
- Manage workload.
- Delegate work to specialists and work as a team member.

**Salary**: R25,000 gross but negotiable. Plus commission based on operating profit.
This is a Consultant position, not a management position. Person must enjoy consulting agents and booking/operating tours.
Position will be in home office. Laptop but no Wifi provided. Uncapped Wifi should be in place. A back up for load shedding would be advantageous.

Preferably in Pretoria/Joburg or Cape Town. But depending on knowledge etc. other places could be considered.
