Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for MDM and data stewardship initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Own the backlog, prioritize features, and manage the end-to-end delivery of MDM solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data stewards to gather and translate requirements into actionable product enhancements.
- Drive the adoption and governance of MDM best practices across the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
- Partner with business leaders, data governance teams, and IT architects to understand data management needs.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather functional and non-functional requirements for MDM solutions.
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on data management strategies.

MDM Technology and Implementation
- Lead the implementation and optimization of MDM platforms, including Informatica and Semarchy.
- Oversee data quality, data integration, and master data workflows to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Collaborate with data architects and engineers to define data models, hierarchies, and governance structures.

Team Leadership & Data Stewardship
- Manage and mentor a team of MDM specialists, data stewards, and analysts.
- Establish and enforce data stewardship policies and standards to maintain high data quality.
- Facilitate data governance forums and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience
- Qualifications: A relevant bachelors degree in Data Science, Data Management or Information Technology
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Master Data Management (MDM).
- Strong experience with Informatica MDM, Semarchy, or similar MDM tools.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience managing and leading MDM teams, data stewards, or governance committees.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data stewardship principles.
- Strong knowledge of MDM architectures, data modeling, and data integration strategies.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud-based MDM solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Agile Product Owner certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO).
- Experience with SQL, ETL, or data engineering principles.
