Data Services Associate

Note: This is a 3 month fixed term contract which will be reviewed after the initial period. Any decision on extending the contract or converting the role to permanent will be based on both the operational requirements at the time and the incumbent's performance._

The Data Services Associate will take Rep Data’s Data Services business to the next level. Your role will report to the Client Experience Sr. Manager and you will support several Project Managers in their survey and data-related needs. You will be a vital part of helping us grow data services operations to meet the needs of our clients and will be relied upon for your attention to detail and responsiveness in cleaning data for Rep Data Project Managers.**LOCATION AND SHIFT**- The shift for this position aligns with US business hours.- During training, the employee is expected to work US Central Time hours of 8am - 5pm CT (equating to 3pm - 12am SAT).
- After training, the employee can work with their manager to select a shift that begins between 12pm - 5pm SAT and ends between 9pm - 4am SAT. Options include:

- 5am - 2pm CT (12pm - 9pm SAT Mar-Nov/1pm - 10pm SAT Nov-Mar)
- 6am - 3pm CT (1pm - 10pm SAT Mar-Nov/2pm - 11pm SAT Nov-Mar)
- 7am - 4pm CT (2pm - 11pm SAT Mar-Nov/3pm - 12am SAT Nov-Mar)
- 8am - 5pm CT (3pm - 12am SAT Mar-Nov/4pm - 1am SAT Nov-Mar)
- 9am - 6pm CT (4pm - 1am SAT Mar-Nov/5pm - 2am SAT Nov-Mar)
- 10am - 7pm CT (5pm - 2am SAT Mar-Nov/6pm - 3am SAT Nov-Mar)
- 11am - 8pm CT (6pm - 3am SAT Mar-Nov/7pm - 4am SAT Nov-Mar)
- Another option is to work four, 10-hour days spanning the weekend (Friday to Monday). This role would be Data Services focused on Fridays and Mondays and Client Services focused on Saturdays and Sundays. Please let the Rep Data team know if you are interested in this option and more details will be provided during the interview process.

What you will do:

- Execute data validation, data cleaning, and data processing activities using advanced formulas with extreme attention to detail
- Write scripts to check the survey programming, then use those to run tables and analysis
- Analyze data and make recommendations for Quality Assurance using Microsoft Excel and other statistical software tools
- Structure, manipulate, and combine large and complex data sets
- Proactively provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies

What you bring:

- 1 year+ of experience in a similar position working with spreadsheet formulas and large data sets is preferred
- Native-like fluency in business English, with a wide knowledge of various professional terms from different industries
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
- Survey scripting skills preferred (Qualtrics, Decipher, Sawtooth, etc.)
- Basic programming skills preferred (Python, JavaScript or CSS)
- An at-home fibre internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps is a requirement of the position
