System Architect Siemens Large Drives

Based on this principle, Siemens has developed a holistic architecture concept to support mining customers to implement digital solutions, with a strong focus on eliminating data silos and increasing collaboration across different departments such as engineering, operations, planning and maintenance. The ultimate target is to create a fully integrated ecosystem, based on the following pillars:

- Vertical Integration from field level to enterprise management level
- Horizontal Integration from engineering to operations

Role Requirements
- Implementation of Data Visualization Solutions based on XHQ (training will be provided by Siemens)
- Understanding of business intelligence workflows; able to model/create these workflows and displays in the XHQ tool
- Work with the Client to perform modifications and/or configuration changes that may be required in his data structures and/or IT environment.
- Work with the Client in the development of project standards and style guides.

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Previous experience in mining projects related to mining operations and enterprise operations management would be advantageous
- Working experience with business intelligence software
- Exposure to architecture, development, and integration of process-related information systems
- Exposure in performing Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test, exposure to various corporate cultures (e.g. with major corporate players)

**Preferred Technical Skills and Experience**:

- Development experience on Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, XHQ.
- Basic knowledge of Data Modelling, with some demonstrated hands-on experience
- Exposure to Data Visualization and dashboard design and development
- Knowledge of XML and SVG, exposure to XML parsers and XSLT
