The Assistant Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for assisting with the growth, direction and maintenance of the Tasting Room. This position will assist in daily operations, achieving sales objectives, and training of staff. In the absence of the Tasting Room Manager, this position will be responsible for all Tasting Room operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with all operations and duties of the Tasting Room Manager
- Supervise Tasting Room staff
- Facilitate all health and safety and hygiene protocols
- Develop sales, achieve sales goals and control expenses
- Assist with inventories of saleable gift items, promotional materials and all other products
- Target, promote, solicit, lead and coordinate groups for tours, tastings, personalized labels and events
- Assist with promoting education, sales and tastings at the winery
- Responsible for cash handling duties including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, and giving change
- Responsible for opening and closing procedures

**Requirements**:

- Related WSET/Sommelier, Hospitality qualification with 3-5 years related experience
- Good ability to supervise
- Ability to operate a personal computer and be familiar with a variety of computer programs
