Brookdale Estate in Paarl is a sprawling country estate, crowned by a Manor House which overlooks manicured, indigenous gardens, wild fynbos, dipping valleys and towering hills. The Estate is also home to a newly-built Bistro, Wine Tasting Room and a state-of-the-art Wine Cellar.

The Bistro & Tasting Room at Brookdale Estate is seeking an experienced Hostess to join the expanding team.

Must be computer literate.

Experience in a fine dining establishment, Dineplan & Lightspeed will be an advantage.

Should be willing to relocate.

**Hostess Job Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertains their dining/lodging needs.
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart.
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Responsible for stocking and taking stock of the Curiosity Table
- Make and manage reservations
- Assist in making reservations at restaurants for guests
- Make sure that the Reception Area is always spotless
