**What you’ll do?**

**Typical accountabilities will include**:

- Responsible for proactively implementing talent acquisition across the African Cluster (key markets being South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Angola, Rwanda, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal) by planning, coordinating, and overseeing the recruitment and selection strategy.
- Collaborates with HR Business Partners and other Centers of Excellence to design and implement best-in-class talent acquisition and succession planning programs and processes that align with business requirements.
- Oversees the implementation of all programs within the recruitment function including; employer branding, employee referral program, recruitment advertising, recruitment communications, recruitment sourcing mediums, planning and graduate recruitment options.
- Monitors the effectiveness of recruiting programs and employment processes. Recommends and implements program additions and enhancements, as well as changes to the staffing processes to optimize results.
- Develops and manages internal and external talent pipelines in support of succession planning and business continuity.
- Identifies business talent needs both current and anticipated and implements strategies to proactively address.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and cluster senior leadership.
- Develops and manages external talent map across the Cluster and rolls out engagement and attraction plans with best talent in the markets.
- Develops and monitors the recruitment and succession dashboard metrics for optimizing staffing results.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?**

You will bring to the role strong business acumen in terms of how talent acquisition and talent mapping and pipelining operates.
- Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level or higher in HR or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading talent acquisition in multinational companies across several African Countries in Southern, Sub Saharan and French Speaking West Africa.
- Experience leading talent acquisition in a Pharmaceutical multinational company is advantageous.
- Fluent in English language. French language proficiency is advantageous.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of talent mapping and proactive talent sourcing strategies.
