**Duties**
- Promotes sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
- Manages company assets to maximize return.
- Monitors channel partner performance and replaces or upgrades low
- performing channel partners.
- Manages the contractual relationship, serves as a liaison and resolves issues between the channel partner and the Company.
- Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial and/or management-related matters.
- Delivers training to channel partners, Company employees, or customers.
- Works with other divisions to maintain a good working relationship between channel partners and the Company to maximize enterprise objectives.**Inherent Requirements**

**Education**
- Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)

**Desired**
- Sales experience, preferably within a company unit or division. (4 - 7 years)
- Experience with Marketing, enterprise customer acquisition, and customer support processes. (4 - 7 years)
- Experience in a broad range of marketing and sales related job functions especially centered around channel management. (4 - 7 years)
- Field sales and/or product support experience. (4 - 7 years)
- Field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, limited geographic area of responsibility, and broad product knowledge. (4 - 7 years)

**Required**
- Knowledge of dealers and other channels.
- Willing to travel into difficult environments and/or for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of dealers/merchants/alliance partners, finance programs and products.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery dealer business practices, ideally including the practices followed at company dealerships.
- Broad based business, sales and marketing skills.
