**Key purpose**:
To support the Group Compliance Officer in the enablement of the Group Compliance Management System.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Execute compliance activities based on the risk-based regulatory and ethics compliance plan in order to provide assurance on the level of regulatory compliance for the business.
- Provide advice to the business on compliance with applicable laws and regulations to ensure ongoing adherence and compliance.
- Execute regulatory compliance breach management and follow-up processes for the business in order to address the identification, analysis and resolution processes to be followed as well as escalation procedures.
- Administration and implementation of select group-wide compliance training and ethics programs.
- Compliance software administration, data-capturing, reporting and the conduct of compliance risk workshops.
- Plan and implement the initiation of critical statutory compliance projects relevant to the business and monitor the appropriate implementation thereof by the business.
- Capturing and maintenance of Group license and permit repository.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- Experience in implementing Compliance Management Systems in accordance with CISA Generally Accepted Compliance Management Practice/ ISO 37301:2021
- Change management
- Basic project management
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office Suite
- 2 - 5 Years of compliance related experience in mining/manufacturing industry
