Digital Marketing and Content Manager

Award-winning digital skills company Digify Africa is looking for a digital marketing and content manager to develop, implement, track and optimise our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels and projects.
**Key objectives**:
Conceptualise, produce and oversee the production and implementation of engaging, quality digital campaigns for Digify Africa and its programmes
Oversee the execution of content for the company’s digital platforms
Strategise, implement and oversee the production of digital marketing campaigns for Digify Africa’s programmes
**Responsibilities include**:
**Management**:
**Managing digital communications team staff**: designers, content producers, community managers and freelancers
Ensure all Digify Africa programmes and their impact on beneficiaries is well represented on our digital platforms
Manage and oversee the growth of the digital communications team members
Create and distribute timelines for each campaign, and oversee output in collaboration with project managers
Liaise with project managers and client to ensure projects are represented well on all platforms
Create team capacity plans for digital communications team and ensure smooth marketing collateral workflow between departments
Manage all freelancers, videographers, photographers, web developers, and suppliers that will work on digital content projects
Manage recruitment and onboarding of mid-weight, junior or intern staff for the digital communications team
**Digital marketing management**:
Conceptualise and implement new and creative digital growth strategies for Digify Africa and associated projects
Develop, implement and manage the company’s social media and website strategy, and reporting on key performance indicators
Measure the success of digital campaigns, and suggest and implement tactics to improve performance
Manage and oversee website and social media content creation
Provide strategic direction to digital communications team to ensure campaigns are implemented in line with project and business goals
Support strategy development and reporting of digital PR campaigns, focusing on identifying targets and ensuring alignment with business objectives
Monitor SEO and user engagement across digital platforms, and suggest and implement content optimisation strategies for website
Source and engage influencers and online opinion leaders for digital campaigns
Upload impact stories and graduates’ profiles on website and ensure projects’ information is up-to-date on website
Creating digital marketing proposals for events, with objectives, deliverables, proposed budgets, and delivery timelines for organic and paid media channels
Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing and social media best practices and technologies
**Content generation**:
Produce quality content and marketing collateral for Digify Africa’s various training programmes and client work
Produce monthly reports on all content and marketing collateral created across projects and platforms
Lead the discussion on how to sustainably grow our platforms and community while meeting Digify Africa’s strategic priorities
Assist the development of a strong Digify Africa brand identity
Oversee the production of testimonials, case studies and videos to support Digify Africa projects
Quality assess designs and suggest art direction for new projects being developed
Create and implement sustainable digital marketing strategies for Digify Africa and associated projects
**Paid media campaign management**:
Develop and execute strategic paid advertising marketing campaigns for Digify Africa and associated projects across multiple media - social media and paid search platforms
Manage all aspects of campaign configuration, launch, and optimisation - including strategy development, ad copywriting, data-based optimisation and budget/billing management
Identify optimisation opportunities, including testing ad copy, and refining messaging and landing pages
Create campaign landing pages on website and lead generation forms for events and project launches
Ensure campaigns are meeting clearly defined conversion objectives
Create and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting to monitor and show progress to project managers and leadership team
Create and manage digital campaign budget from allocation provided by brand
Communications consultant and project managers
Manage digital and content budgets and credits
**Evaluation and monitoring**:
Monitor and evaluate digital campaign and platforms’ performance
Report progress weekly to the senior brand communications consultant
Report monthly on all progress to the senior communications consultant and broader company
Share quarterly reports with the leadership team
**Requirements**:
Minimum undergraduate degree in marketing, media studies, human sciences or equivalent with five
