**RESTAURANT MANAGER - BUTCHER BLOCK**

Butcher Block, one of South Africa’s leading steakhouse brands, is looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead operations at one of our vibrant locations.

**Key Responsibilities**

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:

- **Daily Operations**: Oversee the smooth running of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- **Staff Management**: Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate staff to deliver top-tier customer service and maintain team morale.
- **Customer Experience**: Ensure an exceptional dining experience through quality control, fast service, and customer engagement.
- **Stock & Inventory**: Manage stock levels, ordering, waste control, and stocktakes to reduce shrinkage and improve margins.
- **Financial Performance**: Assist with budgeting, cash-ups, cost control, and daily reporting to meet revenue targets.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Maintain hygiene, safety, and COVID compliance in line with health regulations.
- **Marketing & Promotions**: Support in-store promotions, events, and community engagement initiatives to drive foot traffic.

**Minimum Requirements**
- **3-5 years of experience** as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, stock systems, and daily cash-up procedures.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per hospitality industry norms.
- Formal hospitality or business management qualification is an advantage
