**Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a Business Improvement Manager at our head**
**office in Bonaero Park. The successful applicant will report to the Senior Manager: Innovation.**

**This individual will be part of the team responsible for critical components of FlySafair’s technology stack and**
**innovation roadmap. In this role, the individual will manage and plan all aspects of Industrial Engineering**
**activities.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Manage and lead the Industrial Engineers team;**:

- **Drive continuous improvements through business process**

**engineering that interprets strategy, operations, and**

**technology;**
- **Implement and maintain standards for industrial**

**engineering activities and project execution;**
- **Manage sprints and delivery with Industrial Engineers**

**team for both operations and project activities;**
- **Manage resolution of incidents and problems reported**

**through support channels that require 2nd line support**

**from engineers;**
- **Ensure SME ownership of systems that result in high**

**levels of expertise and systems knowledge;**
- **Ensure that systems are maintained and remain optimal;**:

- **Ensure that all relevant documentation processes are in**

**place;**
- **Communicate with stakeholders in the various business**

**and operational streams;**
- **Contribute to the strategic priorities within the**

**Innovation department;**
- **Perform Senior Industrial Engineering activities within the**

**specified business stream;**
- **A strong customer-centric focus is essential;**:

- **Drive change management in a pro-active manner;**:

- **Valid Covid-19 vaccination card.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Grade 12;**:

- **BEng Industrial Engineering;**:

- **Honours Industrial Engineering or equivalent**

**postgraduate qualification;**
- **10 years of management experience is**

**preferable.**
