IT Support Technician

**IT Support Technician in the Fast Food Sector **(GAAP Software Experience is preferable)

SILVERAKE TRADING PTY LTD is a successful growing business, comprised of a chain of KFC outlets in KZN and a Head Office in Stanger/KwaDukuza. An opportunity has arisen within the business for an experienced IT Support Technician.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
- Experience with GAAP point of sales is required.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment.
- A dynamic, proactive, trustworthy, and hardworking individual.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the businesses IT function effectively. Duties and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

- GAAP Point of Sale (POS) support.
- Installation and Maintenance of IT infrastructure such as computers, software, wifi, and networks.
- Ensure Anti-Virus measures are maintained.
- Desktop support function i.e. Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

**Required Competencies**:

- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Detailed oriented.
- Effective planning and management skills.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Additional hours and store hours may be required.

**Salary Range (Cost to Company)**:
**Salary**: R5,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- KwaDukuza, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
