**POSITION: Seasonal General Warehouse Assistants**

**REPORTING TO: Warehouse Team Leader & Warehouse Manager**

**PLACE OF WORK: Bargain Books Distribution Centre, Athlone**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and unload deliveries of materials and products
- Count, verify, and inspect received items for damages or defects
- Store received items in designated storage areas
- Picking, preparing and packing stock as per store orders for shipment
- Assist with inventory management by updating stock records and conducting regular stock takes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning and organizing warehouse space
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation
