Product Analyst

THE OPPORTUNITY: *

Kurtosys Systems is looking for a Product Analyst to join its growing product team. The successful applicant will have exposure to business analysis, user experience design and have a passion for overcoming challenges

RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Collaborate with Product Managers to gather product requirements from stakeholders, including customer success, sales, and customers themselves.
- Analyze product feature functionality to ensure it meets business needs and requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and document for consumption by developers.
- Design wireframe mock ups to illustrate UX concepts visually, where after collaboration with Senior Product Manager is done to enhance and finalize mock ups.
- Participate in customer calls to gather new requirements or detail about pain points.
- Analyze, research and identify solutions to internal and external problems (and pain points) on the platform.
- Participate in development lifecycle with engineers to ensure functionality delivered meets requirements.
- Managing the product backlog alongside the Product Managers.
- Prioritizing needs within the various product development teams and acting as primary liaison to the Development Team and Product Consulting Leads.
- Evaluating product progress at each iteration.
- Develop training materials and train internal stakeholders on both the use of features and value proposition of functionality.
- Review and approve documentation prepared for the external facing help site, ensuring factual correctness.
- Work with customer success to a) ensure functionality is being correctly used by customers and b) gather feedback on its success.
**THE NON-NEGOTIABLES**:

- Business Analysis exposure
- Product Owner experience [formal qualifications like PSPO, CSPO advantageous]
- Experience or Knowledge of formal requirements gathering and documentation process
**DESIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working in a SAAS environment
- Design and UX knowledge, or background as a designer
- Experience working with technical teams delivering features / projects
- Technical background (understanding of web services, various basic methodologies)
- Agile methodologies, using the Scrum Management Framework
