Commercial Growth & Family Care Marketing Manager
**Your Job**
To leverage a unique understanding of the market and consumer which will build brand equity and align long-term category and brand development strategies with the region. To deliver profitable returns through leading the development of brand and portfolio operating plans. Support, guidance and coaching of direct reports.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for aligning sector strategic deployment to corporate vision and strategy.
- Develops local brand positioning aligned to global brand profile and ensures all activities support and build brand equity.
- Develops the strategic business plan for the Sector in coordination with regional sector leaders (3 year plans, updated annually ).
- Develops the annual Brand Operating Plan (including channel) and commercial programs(s) aligned to the three year strategy.
- Responsible for Brand Operating Plan/commercial program execution and achievement of business targets.
- Drive Cost Transformation and brand innovation in close collaboration with manufacturing facilities.
- Revenue Management - Lead, pursue and execute.
- Manage Sector P&L and drive margin improvements.
- Explores, identifies and develops opportunities that broaden and strengthen the market position and profit potential of the Family care sector.
- Partners with the Regional Sector Leaders to plan and implement Sector innovation, commercial program ideas, and specific sector and channel initiatives.
- Ensures global marketing tools are implemented.
- Ensures that KC business management and compliance standards and controls are applied across all aspects of the sector.
- Ensures all Marketing processes and the KCWBB are applied and implemented as appropriate.
- Manages sector Marketing budgets focus on A&CP.
- Ensures that K-CSA partners successfully with Media, Advertising, In-store and PR Agencies. This involves relationship building, negotiations and evaluation of performance.
- Supports Commercial talent development plan, and leads for sector.
- Lead, inspire and develop skills base of direct reports as per company and development processes in line with one KC behaviours and individuals needs.
**About You**
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- 6 years continuous job experience which should include excellent understanding of or experience in Marketing and Sales, Finance and Category Management.
- Proven track record of delivering business results and successful team management.
**Please note that this role is available only to South African citizens and permanent residencepermitholders, K-C will not provide relocation for this role.**
