**Position Summary**

In this role you will be responsible to develop the Channel agenda within the business through the RTM models to support long term Channel & Category growth with a strong focus on driving penetration for our brands
**A day in the life of a CDT**:
**Drive Channel Insight for markets**:
- Analyze Channel Trends & develop Insight built around 4Ps +C.
- Develop Channel Growth Strategy and Vision to inform Commercial Plans based on Shopper Insights:
- Leverage Channel Insight to develop BIC POS solutions by Channel that can be utilized as part of Category Growth Strategies
- Prioritize Channels in line with Business Needs and Ability to Win (fast-growing or under-served)
**Drive Commercial Planning Process**:
- Identify, align and prioritize Channel opportunities with Category CDT teams.
- Develop a clear Channel vision based on identified growth opportunities.
- Develop effective and efficient commercial plans that are consistent with the identified Channel opportunities aligned to Category Insights and Brand Objectives (Category CDT Team)
- Engage and align with the various BU’s in planning country specific activities and budget coordination.
**Flawlessly Execute Plans**:
- Align planning and execution of region and country specific trade activities with CBM’s & Category CDT.
- Evaluate the effectiveness on all trade activities and promotions.
- Constantly track, analyze, and manage the performance of key customers to identify opportunities or negative trading trends.
**What will make you successful?**
- Degree in Marketing or Sales
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Trade Marketing or Sales.
- Good record of success in a customer (not limited to Key Accounts) facing role.
- Understands customers and the field sales selling process predominantly within the trade environment.
