**To ensure the smooth execution of the contracts under his/her responsibility as per contractual terms.**

**Main Responsibilities**
- To ensure physical movement of goods in a timely and cost effective manner
- To keep track of all relevant documentation, such as BLs, CoA’s, CoO’s, Warehouse Releases whilst respecting regulations and formalities are adhered to
- To be aware of significant issues within the contracts handled including:

- Aged stock
- Hedging/Pricing
- Exposures
- oCompliance
- To seek out and maintain relationships with key people within company and with our external service providers
- To follow our various internal execution KPI’s
- To arrange payments to/from customers/suppliers and monitor cash flows
- To ensure efficient allocation of material within contractual terms
- Day to day management/liaison with our Trade Finance Dept covering Borrowing facilities and/or internal finance mechanisms for week-on-week reporting preparation and submission
- Management/Tracking of physical metal and ensuring quality and weight claims are handled with traders and suppliers.
- Ensure costs are minimized while monitoring and reporting P&L impact where applicable to traders
- Executing monthly stock reconciliations and ensuring discrepancies are resolved within the specified deadline.
- Compiling and submitting reports basis contract management requirements and ensuring all commercial updates are shared accordingly**Inherent Requirements**

**Education, Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a traffic, logistics or similar role within the metals or commodities industry
- BCom Honors for Accounting /Economics/ Finance/ Logistics or;
- Higher Grade Mathematics/ Geometry/ Accounting at matric level with a score of minimum 70% (Mathematic literacy is not applicable)
- Strong numerical and IT literacy including Microsoft Office products and commodities front office systems specifically excel (vlookup and pivot full competency is a minimum)
- Hard working with a go getter attitude, a good problem solver who works well under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understand risks involved in commodity trading environment.
- Ability to be flexible, think out of the box to meet deadlines
