**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant
- Must have strong general management skills with the ability to manage a complete Restaurant operation, front and back of house.
- Applicants must be well spoken and fluent in English.
- Will only consider individuals with strong Restaurant administration knowledge and experience.
- Must be skilled in cash up reconciliation, stock management, opening & closing procedures.
- Looking for someone who can work under pressure.
- Must have strong customer relations, staff management and training skills.

**Duties/Responsibilities Include **(but are not limited to):

- Food and Beverage knowledge
- Full menu knowledge. Manage and oversee a kitchen.
- Able to manage the ordering stock
- Knowledge of stock quality.
- POS knowledge, daily stock-takes and daily cash-up procedures.
- Staff-ability to motivate waiters/waitresses.
- Recognise the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Attention To detail & lead by example.
- Ability to handle guestcomplaints & build customer loyalty.
- Ability to perform the duties of any member of staff on the floor in the event of short staffing or unforeseen circumstances.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Complete weekly & monthly stocktakes
- Be honest, reliable, energetic and results driven.
- Must be a peoples person, with excellent guest communication skills.
- Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
