Howden MEA Projects is looking for a **Projects Packaging and Logistics Controller**. The position will be responsible for ensuring project equipment and materials are supplied and available, coordinating material transportation, handling cargo, and negotiating with freight forwarders, as well as managing customs duty payments.

**_ What Will You Do?_**
- Information Flow: Control the information flow for all project orders related to the project/s into the supply chain system to ensure accurate, complete, and valid project procurement status and goods receipt for all completed project work/services.- Projects Logistics Management: Cooperation with project managers in the development of project delivery projections to ensure that acceptable material handling is achieved on sites. Sourcing rates from Freight Forwarders and finalizing the forwarder based on the rate and service provided. Maintain the company's vendor list in consultation with Procurement and QA to ensure that only approved vendors are loaded onto the system. Liaise with other departments to ensure that procurement procedures are maintained. Prepare contracts delivery schedules, or status reports with the project managers on a weekly and monthly basis for distribution to all relevant stakeholders.- Reporting: Responsible for weekly reporting on projects. Assist with monthly reporting and operational reporting.- General: Proactively manage equipment/material flow for projects. Support commercial management of the projects. Update and maintain relevant information regarding vendor databases. Review of all purchase orders for accuracy in terms of on-time delivery and expedite all PO’s. Responsible for other ad hoc duties as may be delegated from time to time.- Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.**_Your Experience Should Be _**
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent- 5 years related experience in a project environment- Knowledge of ERP based financial reporting systems- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel- Highly computer literate- Extensive knowledge of Incoterms- Knowledge working across borders- Good negotiation skills.- Must be deadline driven.**_Our Benefits Package _**
