**Job Purpose**:
BIL is looking to hear from individuals with experience in packaging supply chain concept development to partner in a **potential** upcoming project within the Automotive industry.

The incumbent will be expected to come up with and initiate packaging supply chain concepts to optimise clients plant production within the Automotive space.

The incumbent whom possesses the required competent skill-set and declared successful in the appointment of the role, will be mostly based at a clients facility based in Rosslyn - Pretoria or any other BIL facility in the Johannesburg area.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics or equivalent degree.
- 5 Years applicable logístical supply chain planning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analysis, development & integration of packaging concepts from suppliers, at work package/component level, aligned with the master project plan & schedule requirements.
- Analyses of existing packaging concepts for modification/adaption and optimization purposes.
- Identification of project proposed packaging structural changes and presentation of options/alternatives with financial resource & schedule requirements.
- Implementation ownership of approved packaging logístical concepts and structural change projects to conclusion.
- Introduction of innovative, optimal & new logístical concepts and best practises, with consideration of external limitations.
- Creation and delivery of stable/controllable packaging processes, solutions & concepts.
- Liaison with key process partners, e.g., supply chain and material flow planning, to ensure the delivery of integrated, aligned, consistent, viable and cost-effective solutions.
