- Receive the Forecast File from the Sales Dept and complete the MRP against agreed timings. (Including the MRP for Unilever)
- Share the MRP with all relevant parties highlighting Refinery and Packing constraints. Conduct month end counts at 3rd Party Co packers and resolve stock variances with all relevant parties before Month End posting.
- In line with the Head Office Financial Procedures initiate the Raw Material and Packed Product stock write-offs (Finance will authorise the write offs)
- Coordinate and manage Logistics improvement projects. (LSS/Kaizen projects)
- In conjunction with the Senior Oil Trader manage the imported oil contracts including direct liaison with Malaysia
- Expedite critical raw material and packaging shortages against the production, refinery and tanker plans.
- Coordinate contingency plans as required
- Manage Logistics information on the Management Information System (SAP)
- Manage the contract for the Bulk Tanker transport provider (Against agreed KPIs)
- Manage the completion and issuing of the Production, Materials and Tanker plans ensuring timeous submissions to the receiving parties.
- Reporting:
- Review and analyse Logistics data and information and report in Monthly Ops Meetings
- Compile and update Logistics KPI's
