**Surveillance/Security Manager, Eastern Cape, RNeg**

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surveillance/Security Manager to join their team and ensure the safety and security of their Casino and its patrons.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the casino's assets, employees, and patrons.
- Oversee the surveillance system, monitoring for any suspicious activities or incidents and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Conduct investigations, review footage, and report any irregularities or breaches of security.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging security technologies.
- Handle crisis situations, emergencies, and incidents effectively, ensuring mínimal disruption to casino operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and activities.
- Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.
- Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and compliance among all casino staff.

Qualifications:

- Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
- Military, police, security or surveillance background.
- Three (3) years’ experience in surveillance or security preferably in a casino or a similar environment.
- Previous management or supervisory experience or qualification.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and security technology.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing security in the gaming industry.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Relevant security certifications or training will be an advantage.
